You are invited to join us on Thursday 23rd September for a Tech Talk hosted by Dr Robert Bianco, Swagelok Senior Materials Scientist, Innovation and Technology.
Global energy needs are increasing interest in the use of a more hazardous fluids like oxygen and hydrogen. The hazards associated with the use of these fluids and their impact on the performance of materials will be discussed. Solutions for safely containing these fluids including material selection, production design and selection, and manufacturing protocols will also be presented.
- Background information and possible applications
- Hazards and issues with oxygen and hydrogen
- What is hydrogen embrittlement?
- Material / product selection for hazardous service
- Manufacturing and cleanliness requirements
- Material qualification and regulatory standards
Register your interest before 5pm, Tuesday 21st September.
Please note, there are limited spaces available.
