MJI - Blended Learning Course
The MJI training courses can be completed via a blended learning approach. This is a two module programme and is aimed at candidates with no previous mechanical joint integrity (MJI) training. In the current COVID climate, this approach reduces the risk to delegates by limiting the time they spend in the training academy, offers ease and flexibility to complete modules at their own pace and at a time to suit them, and offers additional efficiency benefits with reduced travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
Course Delivery
Two module programme consisting of e-learning and in-person training workshop delivered by ECITB certified trainers.
Module 1 - E-learning
The e-learning module consists of interactive online lessons that a candidate can complete at their own pace up to a maximum of 28 days prior to attending the in-person training workshop.
Module Length
- MJI10: 3.5 hours
- MJI10/19: 4 hours
- MJI10/19/18: 4.5 hours
Module 2 - In-Person Training Workshop
The in-person training workshop module puts into practice the knowledge and understanding gained from the e-learning module. Candidates will complete a variety of instructor-led practical training activities, invigilated knowledge testing and observed practical exercises to successfully complete the course. Due to the nature and safety requirements of the equipment being used, all training workshop sessions will begin with a re-cap of key safety requirements and knowledge refresh before any practical exercises begin. Candidates are provided with hard copy reference manuals and a student workbook to take away and utilise in the workplace.
